SANTO DOMINGO.– The meeting between the command transition commissions that was scheduled for 11:00 in the morning at the National Palace was suspended today.
The information was offered by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, José Ramón Peralta, who indicated that the coordinator of the commission, Lisandro Macarrulla, former president of the National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep), will meet today with the minister of the Presidency, Gustavo Montalvo.
It is recalled that the president-elect, Luis Abinader, formed the transfer of command council with three commissions that seek a transition “in order and that the entire country continue to work in an organized manner.”
The technical transition commission is coordinated by Lisandro Macarrulla, former president of the National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep), who since last March was the president of the presidential cabinet of Abinader’s political project; the president of the PRM and senator for Puerto Plata, José Ignacio Paliza, as well as Sonia Guzmán and Miguel Ceara Hatton, one of Abinader’s main economic advisers. Gloria Reyes, will serve as secretary and Darío Castillo, director of organization of the Abinader project.
