Santo Domingo Este.-The candidate for deputy in the number one constituency of this municipality for the Frente Amplio party, Leo Calderón Rambalde, brought to the Municipal Electoral Board of Santo Domingo Este, various complaints of irregularities that he said were developed during the past electoral process in that demarcation.
One of them is that his vote at the electoral table number 10-02 of the parish educational center located on Spain Avenue, was not counted.
Calderón Rambalde asked this Friday for a recount of the votes, when he denounced that there were “irregularities in the electoral elections at the congressional level.”
“In box number one of the Broad Front it appears at zero despite the fact that we exercise our right to vote, which is repeated in all other centers. We have sufficient evidence of each and every one of the irregularities and we are demanding that all ballots be recounted in order to legitimize this process, ”said the candidate for deputy.
He argued that it is necessary for the electoral body to guarantee the transparency of the process so that those who won in a good fight are those who are declared the winners of this contest.
“During the count, all the votes of the Broad Front were excluded, without due justification, in accordance with the provisions of Electoral Law 15-19 and other resolutions issued by the Central Electoral Board, for which we are requesting a recount of the votes in all the electoral centers of our demarcation, to legitimize the process, “said Calderón.
