The information was released by the executive director of the 9-1-1 System, Brigadier General Vicente Mota Medina, during a working session with the General Director of the PN, Major General Edward Ramón Sánchez González, in which he added that “ the National Police is present not only in events related to security, but also assists in other emergencies by carrying out preventive work ”.
The directors socialized the integrated model of the 9-1-1 System, in which both institutions interact to respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner. In that sense, Major General Sánchez González stated that the 9-1-1 National Emergency Assistance and Security System is “an achievement that must be maintained and strengthened.”
Sánchez González made a tour of the video surveillance and dispatch departments, areas where National Police agents monitor and activate attention to emergency situations that may put the lives and property of citizens at risk.
